It is made of a layer of sheer bright blue silk chiffon that has a mix of floral patterns in red, brown, yellow, orange and white. There is a layer of solid bright blue silk chiffon beneath the floral layer. It is lined in a tan silk or acetate. The dress has a deep scooped neckline in front and back. The sleeves are long and full and unlined. They have 1" cuffs with small hidden snaps on them. The skirt is long and full and wide-sweeping. The solid blue layer is about 3" longer than the floral layer, and this provides a nice frame for the pattern. There is a zipper in the back. Content: silk Condition: Very good with noted flaws. There is a 2" tear in the floral chiffon layer at the hem. I don't have the skills to stitch this back, but somebody who can use a needle well could whip-stitch it fixed. It is where the pattern is busy, so the repair would not be very noticeable. There are also about 3 quarter sized water spots on the floral layer. They are very hard to find and all but get lost in the busy-ness of the pattern. The blue layer has some slight discoloration. It is not noticeable unless you pull the floral layer back and inspect the blue layer by itself. THE FIT The measurements listed below are of the garment lying flat, doubled where appropriate. Add an inch or two or three, whatever is appropriate for the style, to your own body measurements to allow for a good fit.
